What document for import from China to Philippines?

The Philippine Customs is well known for its strict restrictions on imports, which can lead to high fines if are not careful. Now not a little importation are from China, if there is FORM E, importer can have tax reduction. So, what should pay attention to when importing to Philippines?

Part A Export from China,

 

A1. Documents: Basic shipping documents like bills of lading, commercial invoice, packing list and others (if need only, such as certificate of fumigation if origin wood package). Philippines is an ASEAN country, generally requires FORM E for tax relief. It can be prepared by supplier or forwarder. If there is sea shpt, we can apply FORM E freely, or pick up from supplier if in need.

 

A2. Pre alert: To ask above documents sent to consignee on time for pre-alert to avoid customs penalty.

 

Part B Import license at Philippines

B1.Importer must be having,

--Valid Bureau of Customs importer’s accreditation.
--Be registered importer to Bureau Of Customs using E2M System
--Have BRN (Bank Reference Number)
--BIR ICC (Importers Clearance Certificate)
--AMO Certificate (Bureau of Customs Account Management Office, AMO)
--CPRS (Client Profile Registration System)
--Others
   
B2.Pre-alert. It must be done before goods arrival to Philippines ports, otherwise will have penalty.
